Exceed,Ñ¢ Tough+ m 0516.ML, also known as Exceed,Ñ¢ XP 8656ML, is a metallocene polyethylene copolymer designed for blown film applications. It offers high toughness, excellent flex-crack resistance, and improved bubble stability, making it suitable for various uses including agricultural film, flexible packaging, and construction liners. The product has a density of 0.916 g/cm¬= and a melt index of 0.50 g/10 min, indicating its processing characteristics. In terms of mechanical properties, it exhibits a tensile strength at yield of 1300 psi (9.0 MPa) in the machine direction and 1400 psi (9.6 MPa) in the transverse direction. The elongation at break is notably high, reaching 300% in the machine direction and 640% in the transverse direction. The product also demonstrates good impact resistance with a dart drop impact value of 750 g. Exceed,Ñ¢ Tough+ m 0516.ML is available in multiple regions including North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. It is compliant for potential food contact applications in the EU and the USA, although specific migration or use limitations may apply. This product does not intentionally contain Tris(nonylphenol)phosphite (TNPP).
