Galvanized steel perforated grate – 8″ wide x 24″ long x 1.5″ thick – rated for DIN load class B.
This 8″ wide galvanized steel perforated trench drain grate is used where ADA compliance and heel compliance are a priority. It is typically used on an 6” wide prefabricated trench drain or 6” wide catch basin. The small openings are more prone to clogging, but will provide adequate inflow when properly maintained. Typical uses are trench drains in production areas where the user is trying to keep small objects out of the drain. This trench drain grate is also used in parks and common areas where pedestrians are present.
