Emerson Automation Solutions – Rosemount Millennium II BASIC Single Channel Transmitter M2B-X

The M2B single channel universal transmitter is designed for the most demanding, industrial applications that require a local, full-featured transmitter interface but do not require a character display. The Millennium II BASIC includes bright LED indicators for Power/Alarm/Fault conditions with an optional local HART® interface. Sensors can be easily exchanged, with NE-MOS Solid State, Electrochemical, Infrared and Catalytic Bead sensor technologies available. The Millennium II BASIC transmitter automatically recognizes any connected pre-calibrated sensor and maintains an uninterrupted digital signal between them, providing fast response times and over 2000ft (600m) sensor separation. The straightforward, non-intrusive commands in Class1 Div1 areas are accessed via the included external magnet and bright LED indicators. Add our optional intrinsically safe HART® port adaptor for access to the built-in data logging and advanced diagnostics, right at the transmitter via a hand-held communicator. All this amounts to a detection solution which stands alone in it's performance, versatility, and efficiency.
