8-CHANNEL CAT 5e A/B SWITCH APPLICATION: The drawing illustrates eight Cat5e A/B switches. Each channel is controlled independently via front-panel pushbutton controls with gang commands. For each channel a COMMON device is connected to the RJ45 COMMON port with access to two other devices connected to the RJ45 A and B ports.
The PathWay® Model 7463 8-Channel RJ45 A/B Switch allows the user the capability of sharing a single port interface device connected to the Common port among two other devices connected to the A and B ports for each channel. The Model 7463 is enclosed in a 1U, full rack size, all metal black chassis designed to provide EMI/RFI shielding and fit in a standard 19" rack.
The switch may be controlled manually via front panel pushbuttons only. Switch position status may be attained via the front panel LED display.
