The PathWay® Model 7262 Dual Channel RS232 / RS-530 A/B network switch allows a device connected to either channel COMMON port access to its respective A or B port. The Model 7262 Dual Channel unit is compactly enclosed in a low profile, 19-inch 1U rack unit. The unit allows for both channels to be switched simultaneously or independently.
The switch may be controlled locally by manually operating the front panel pushbutton or remotely from the DB9 Control port located on the rear of the unit. The DB9 Remote port provides control either by RS232 serial commands, or by dry contact open/closure logic. The front panel LED display indicates the switch position and unit power status.
