The PathWay® Model 4428 DB9 A/B switch provides A/B switching in a low profile desktop unit. It allows the user to access two DB9 interface devices connected to the A and B ports from one DB9 device connected to the COMMON port.
The switch may be controlled locally by manually operating a front panel pushbutton. The switch may be operated remotely via its RS232 serial interface REMOTE port located on the rear of the unit. Since all 9 pins of the DB9 interface are switched, the Model 4428 is applicable to ANY DB9 device.
