Description SPOT FREE, a new cleaner solvent and degreaser based on alkyl bromide chemistry, is an excellent alternative to traditional chlorinated solvents used to remove manufacturing soils from textiles.
SPOT FREE has physical properties and cleaning effectiveness similar to 1,1,1, trichloroethane. SPOT-FREE is not considered a significant ozone-depleter, is non-flammable, and has a good toxicity profile. While SPOT-FREE cleans as well as 1,1,1 trichloroethane, it dries more quickly, enhancing its value as a production spotting agent.
