Description
High-Performance Conformal Coating with Secondary Moisture Cure Dual-cure 9483-Z conformal coating is free of Trimethylbenzoyl Diphenylphosphine Oxide (TPO). It cures tack-free upon exposure to UV/Visible light and then with ambient moisture over time, on PCBs where shadow areas are present. The product also fluoresces bright blue under low-intensity UV black light (365 nm) for visual inspection of the coating coverage and has no solvents added. The material is easily dispensed and engineered for coating thicknesses between 0.05 mm [0.002 in] and 0.2 mm [0.008 in] to meet the requirements of most automotive PCB designs. The material has excellent corrosion and chemical resistance as well as excellent thermal cycling properties. Applications include conformal coating of rigid and flexible printed circuit boards for the automotive, general/consumer electronics, and appliance, as well as the aerospace and defense industries. 9483-Z is ideal for coating automotive sensors, control modules, and miscellaneous automotive components. Recommended substrates include ABS, lead frame, PCB, flex, and ceramic. Dymax dual-cure materials have no non-reactive solvents. Their ability to cure in seconds enables faster processing, greater output, and lower processing costs.
