The MLP383M016EB1B is a 38,000 µF, 16 Vdc aluminum electrolytic capacitor in the MLP Flatpack series, designed for voltage holdup and filtering in high-reliability applications. It has a 3.0-inch case length, weighs 66 g typical, and uses mounting tabs with polyester insulation. The part operates from -55°C to +85°C, has a ±20% capacitance tolerance, and a maximum ESR of 31 mΩ at 25°C. Ripple current capability is 9.0 A at 120 Hz and 9.6 A at 20 kHz with an 85°C case temperature, and can be doubled with an external heatsink.
