The MLP173M010EK0E is a 17,000 µF, 10 Vdc aluminum electrolytic capacitor in the MLP Flatpack series, designed for voltage holdup and filtering in high-reliability applications. It has a 1.5-inch EK case, weighs 30 g, and features 18 AWG copper wire terminals. The capacitor operates from -55°C to +85°C and supports 50-year life at +45°C with a welded hermetic seal. Ripple current is 4.2 A at 120 Hz and 4.5 A at 20 kHz at 85°C case temperature. ESR is 77 mΩ at 120 Hz and 67 mΩ at 20 kHz. ESL is less than 30 nH at 1 MHz. It meets MIL-STD-202 vibration testing at 10g and allows double ripple current capability when heatsinked. The part includes polyester insulation and mounting tabs.
