The Type 500C is a screw terminal aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for long-life applications in mainframe computers, UPS, and power supply filtering. It operates from -40 °C to +95 °C, with a rated voltage range up to 550 Vdc and a capacitance range up to 2.6 F. The 500C134U035CD2B variant provides 130,000 µF at 35 Vdc with a maximum ESR of 7.4 mΩ at 25 °C and a ripple current rating of 24.8 A at 85 °C. The capacitor has a nominal size of 2 1/2 x 4 5/8 inches, screw terminal mounting, and a 5000-hour endurance life at full load and 85 °C with ≤20% capacitance change and ≤200% ESR increase.
