The Type 500C is a screw terminal aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for long-life applications in mainframe computers, UPS, and power supply filtering, with a temperature range of -40 °C to +95 °C and capacitance values up to 2.6 F. It features Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction for improved thermal performance. The part 500C134U016EC2B is a 130,000 µF capacitor with a 16 Vdc rating, measured at 120 Hz, and has a maximum ESR of 9.7 mΩ at 25 °C and a ripple current rating of 16.9 A at 85 °C.
