The Type 101C aluminum electrolytic capacitor is designed for high-ripple current applications in military and industrial systems, offering low ESR and extended temperature performance from -55 °C to 105 °C. It has a 3 inch diameter and 5 5/8 inch length, with a stud mount terminal. The part has a capacitance of 560,000 µF, a rated voltage of 16 Vdc, a maximum ESR of 3.5 mΩ at 25 °C, and a ripple current rating of 57.2 A at 85 °C. It features a 5,000 hour load life at 105 °C and maintains greater than 90% capacitance at -40 °C. The construction includes Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode foil for optimal heat dissipation in all mounting orientations.
