The Type 101C is a low-ESR aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-ripple current military and industrial applications with full performance from -55 °C to 105 °C. It has a stud mount, 1 3/8 inch diameter, and 4 1/8 inch length. The part has a capacitance of 49,000 µF with a tolerance of -10% to +75%, a rated voltage of 16 Vdc, a maximum ESR of 15.9 mΩ at 25 °C, and a maximum ripple current of 13.6 A at 85 °C. It features Thermal-Pak™ extended cathode construction for heat dissipation in all mounting orientations and a load life of 5,000 hours at 105 °C. Capacitance remains above 90% at -40 °C.
