Designed specifically for forestry applications, the DX225LL is equipped with a high-walker undercarriage design. Tracks feature heavy-duty links with double grouser shoes and full-length track guiding guards. The DX225LL has heavy-duty top rollers with special clean-out brackets.
The protection extends to the upper structure. Standard features include mainframe reinforcement, full under-house plate guarding, integral catwalks, heavy-duty side doors with guarding over the hydraulic pump and cooling system doors, and undercarriage guarding. The cab features a 4-foot riser with guarding and hydraulic tilt for transport.
Balancing power and efficient combustion, the DX225LL has a high-pressure common rail direct fuel injection system and four valves per cylinder.
The Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) links the hydraulic system and engine control for productivity while minimizing fuel consumption.
Choose from Standard Mode for optimized fuel consumption and general working conditions, Power Mode for faster cycle times and heavy duty work requirements or Economy mode for reduced fuel consumption in reduced demand applications.
