Bobcat Company Attachment - Trench Compactor

Description
Digging is only the first step in most trenching applications. Once the trench has been dug and the cable or water line laid, the Bobcat® trench compactor attachment can help finish the job off. That includes power and water line trenches in yards and at golf courses, parks and other projects. The large, wheel-type trench compactor compresses soil using a vibratory shaker box for optimum compaction in any soil type. The trench compactor works most efficiently in trenches 4 to 12 inches wide and up to 4 feet deep. Trenches that are more than two feet deep should be backfilled and compacted in two or three layers (lifts) to achieve desired compaction. With the trench compactor attachment and its cousins, the trencher and backhoe, a single Bobcat skid-steer loader can handle virtually all your trenching work. Features: Isolated vibratory shaker box offers long, trouble-free operation. 2,200 vibrations per minute. Replaceable pads.
