The AP7167-FNG-7 is a 1.2A adjustable output voltage linear regulator designed for low to medium power applications. It operates within a wide input voltage range of 2.2V to 5.5V and features a very low dropout voltage of 230mV at a 500mA load and 500mV at 1A load. The typical quiescent current is approximately 125¬µA, making it suitable for battery-powered devices and applications such as laptops and audio/video equipment. This regulator includes built-in current limit and thermal shutdown protection to prevent damage under fault conditions. It offers a Power-OK (POK) output for power sequence control and maintains a total accuracy of 3% over line, load, and temperature variations. The device is stable with any output capacitor of 4.7¬µF or greater and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40¬?C to 85¬?C. The AP7167 is available in both DFN3030-10 and SOP-8L packages, with a lead-free finish and RoHS compliance.
