Danfoss thermostatic injection valves are used for desuperheating (TXI 2), for control of liquid injection into the intercooler in 2-stage refrigeration systems (TEAT) or for refrigerant injection into the suction line to reduce the high discharge temperatures that can occur when the system operates with highly superheated suction vapour (TEAT). Furthermore they can be used for temperature regulation of the medium, e.g. the temperature of the oil in a screw compressor (TEAT).
TXI 2 is an injection valve type for desuperheating in 2-stage refrigeration systems operating on R 22 where the hot gas temperature and the intermediate pressure are the controlling variables.
TEAT desuperheating valves are used to inject refrigerant into the suction line of the refrigeration system to reduce the high discharge temperatures that can occur when the system operates with highly superheated suction vapour. TEAT valves are also used in two-stage refrigeration plants to control liquid injection into the intercooler and for temperature regulation of the medium, e.g. the temperature of the oil in a screw compressor.
