Daburn Ultra-Flexible cross-linked EPDM Hook-Up Wire exhibits the following characteristics: Excellent abrasion resistance Excellent flexibility at high and low temperatures Good dielectric strength Achieves many of the qualities of silicone rubber and Hypalon while having better cut-through resistance than silicone rubber and more abrasion resistance than Hypalon Ozone and Corona resistant Good resistance to alkalis, acids, and oxygenated solvents. Superior resistance to water and steam. EPDM is a synthetic rubber elastomer widely used in high temperature environments that also require flexibility and a better level of abrasion and cut-through resistance than silicone rubber. This wire is ideally suited for high temperature applications including internal wiring of electrical equipment/appliances , and lead wire for motors, ballast, transformers, coils or solenoids. This wire meets UL 3340 and UL 3374. Description: Single conductor stranded tinned copper insulated with .045” or .060” EPDM insulation. Operating Temperature: -40°C to +125°C (150°C where no flexing occurs) Voltage: UL Rated at 600 Volts AC. Dielectric Strength tested at AC 2,000V for 1 minute without break down. VW-1 Flame Rating. This series is RoHS compliant. Standard Put-Ups: 100 feet, 500 feet, 1,000 feet Colors Available: Black, Red, White, Green, Yellow, Blue, Brown, Gray, Violet, Orange
