The tape exhibits an adhesion to steel of 45 oz/in and a tensile strength of 26 lbs/in in the machine direction and 52 lbs/in in the cross direction. It has an elongation at break of 160% and a total thickness of 2.2 mil. The product adheres instantly to most surfaces, including those with recycled content, and offers high edge tear and split resistance. It complies with ASTM D 1974-92 environmental considerations. Application is most effective at room temperature, with performance maintained in typical shipping and storage conditions. Recommended storage conditions include a clean, dry place with temperatures between 40-80¬8F and 40 to 50% relative humidity.
