The 1¬µF, 160V axial film capacitor features a metallized polypropylene dielectric, providing low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and high AC/ripple current capabilities. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -55¬8C to +105¬8C and has a capacitance tolerance of ¬±10% at 1 kHz and 25¬8C, with an optional ¬±5% tolerance. The capacitor is rated for a DC voltage of 160V and an AC voltage of 90V. Insulation resistance is specified at 30,000 MOc for capacitance values below 0.33¬µF, and 10,000 MOc per ¬µF for higher capacitance values at 25¬8C. The product is designed for applications in switching power supplies and general-purpose AC applications, but it is not suitable for use across the line. The capacitor is also RoHS compliant and features a flame-retardant polyester tape wrap with epoxy resin end fills. Engineers may consider this capacitor for projects requiring stable performance under varying frequency and temperature conditions, along with a robust construction suitable for demanding environments.
