ContiTech AG Hose Lines for Fuel Systems

Description
Fuel hoses and hose lines for complete engine motor assemblies with maximum resistance and safety. Our fuel hoses and hose lines – such as, for example, those for extremely powerful turbocharged DI engines – offer a wider margin of safety thanks to their flame retardancy and can be used over a wide temperature range (-40° to +150°C). They boast high resistance to aggressive fuels and adherence to defined push-on and pull-off forces. For some time now, renewable raw materials have been mixed into diesel fuels. Admixtures of up to 7% RME/PME (rape seed methyl ester/plant methyl ester) are allowed by law in petroleum-based diesel fuels. An RME content of up to 10% is under discussion. To be sure, RME has shown itself to be a more aggressive substance than mineral diesel. PTFEW lines made from stainless steel are especially temperature resistant. The corrugated hose gives the lines the flexibility needed for installation in compact commercial-vehicle engine compartments. The material is resistant to RME inside and out. And since no brazing is involved in shaping the hoses, the problem of leaky joints is avoided.
