The WG 280 D series consists of solid state relays designed for switching AC loads up to 280 VAC with DC input control, suitable for resistive and inductive loads with power factor above 0.65. Each model features a back-to-back SCR output with an internal snubber, zero-crossing or random turn-on options, and a constant current input circuit operating from 3 to 32 VDC. The devices offer isolation of 4,000 V between input and output, an on-state voltage of 1.6 Vpeak, and an off-state dv/dt rating of 1,000 V/µs. Operating temperature ranges from -20 to +80 °C. Physical packaging is a hockey puck style with an aluminum base plate for models 50 A and above, and glass-filled polyester housing. Terminals use M4 screws for input and M3.5 for output. Approvals include cULus and VDE.
