The EVP series is a family of 2-way proportional control valves designed for precise airflow or gas flow control in applications such as analytical instruments, respirators, and blood pressure monitoring. The valves feature a single moving part for long life and low friction, consume 1.9 watts at 72°F, and operate on input currents proportional to control signals. Available in inline or manifold mounting with #10-32 threaded ports, they support orifice sizes from 0.009" to 0.060" and maximum operating pressures up to 100 psig. Standard seal material is nitrile, with EPDM and FKM options. The valves accept 0 to 5, 0 to 10, or 0 to 20 VDC control inputs and have a temperature range of 32 to 132°F.
Clippard is pleased to offer the EVP Series Proportional Control Valve as part of our Electronic Valve product line. This product combines the features of the existing EV series valve—long life, low power, and Clippard's reputation for high quality components—with the additional capability of proportional control. The EVP series valve provides air or gas flow control, and varies the output flow based on the current input to the solenoid. The consistent gain of this valve provides a high degree of control for many applications.
