The EVP series proportional control valves are 2-way valves designed for precise air or gas flow control in applications such as analytical instruments, ventilators, and blood pressure monitoring. They feature a single moving part for long life and low friction, consume 1.9 watts at rated voltage, and are rated for maximum operating pressures of 25 psig with a 0.040 inch orifice. These valves accept 0 to 5 VDC input signals and are available in in-line or manifold mounting configurations with Nitrile seals as standard. The valve operates within a temperature range of 32 to 132°F and has a flow rate proportional to input current.
Clippard is pleased to offer the EVP Series Proportional Control Valve as part of our Electronic Valve product line. This product combines the features of the existing EV series valve—long life, low power, and Clippard's reputation for high quality components—with the additional capability of proportional control. The EVP series valve provides air or gas flow control, and varies the output flow based on the current input to the solenoid. The consistent gain of this valve provides a high degree of control for many applications.
