Pyrene 1055 is a liquid, inhibited, alkaline product formulated to clean steel, aluminum, zinc, copper, and brass in spray washers. A low-foaming material, its unique blend of alkalies, silicates and detergents gives it the ability to remove oils, lubricants, drawing compounds, and other difficult soils. Pyrene 1055 can also be used in highly agitated immersion tanks without excessive foaming and makes an excellent precleaner in phosphate and other prepaint treatment lines because its moderate alkalinity will not cause chemical imbalances in the pretreatment solution.
