The PN4392 is an N-channel silicon JFET in a TO-92 package, designed for analog switching and chopper applications. It has a gate-drain and gate-source voltage rating of 40 V, a maximum gate current of 50 mA, and a power dissipation of 625 mW. The drain-source saturation current (IDSS) ranges from 25 mA to 75 mA at VDS = 20 V, and the gate-source cutoff voltage (VGS(OFF)) ranges from 2.0 V to 5.0 V at VDS = 20 V and ID = 1.0 nA. The turn-on and turn-off times are specified up to 15 ns and 35 ns respectively, depending on drive conditions. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +150°C.
