Ditch the pail and shovel.
A pail and shovel may seem like the cheapest way to clean a sump, but when you consider the hours (or even days) needed to do a thorough job, the cost mounts quickly. CECOR Sump Shark sump cleaners deliver high-suction lift to remove all solids with the coolant. The filter separates solids from the coolant right at the machine tool. Pump the filtered coolant back into the machine or transport for further processing.
The SA5 series medium size air sumpcleaners (90-, 140 and 175-gallon) are very popular due to the convenience of using shop air and their lower cost. With a suction rate of 26” Hg, the SA5 series can pick up the thickest of sludge. With no moving parts, maintenance is easy.
Designed for the job
Clean out door is flush to tank bottom for easy cleaning.
The 90-175 gallon SA5 Sump Sharks have an 8′ x 10′ clean out door for easy tank cleaning. The clean out door is flush to the bottom of the tank for rinsing or raking out. There is a 1-1/4′ drain port in the clean out door for draining.
CECOR Sump Sharks come with three cleaning tools: straight, flexible and flared nozzles. Optional floor squeegee is available.
The standard PT base includes a push bar for easy maneuvering by one person, as well as tow bar for transport by tug. Optional PL6 base include push bar and fork pockets for lifting by fork lift.
Safety is important
CECOR is the only sump cleaner manufacturer to offer a three-step system to prevent overpressurization for air units.
Pressure Regulator – controls the operating pressure (6 psi) set at factory.
Pressure Relief Valve – goes off at 8 psi (loud, unmufflered sound) alerting operator
Rupture Disk – Shuts the unit off at 15 psi
CECOR units come with a pressure gauge. Many other sump cleaners don’t. We believe it’s important to understand what is going on inside the tank and how your Sump Shark is performing.
A Sump Shark sure beats a pail and shovel. When sump cleaning is easier and faster, it will get done more often. With regular cleaning the build-up of impacted swarf and layers of scum will not occur. Regular sump cleaning will reduce the odor and risk of dermatitis, making for an overall cleaner and more productive work setting.
SA5 series air-powered Sump Shark sump cleaner filters solids from expensive industrial fluids for re-use or disposal. Streamline sump cleaning. Reduce machine downtime, labor cost and mess. Save time and money.

No moving parts. Simple to operate and maintain.
