Model 9A Caster Bracket - Capacity up to 900 pounds per caster. These Industrial Casters are used where the caster must be totally immobile when the caster brake is applied. Caster Model 9A has a unique brake which locks both the wheel and the swivel bearing at the same time. This "Total-Lock" brake insures that the swivel caster will not turn when the wheel is locked. This combination wheel brake and swivel lock is essential for safety in some applications - such as on worktables, machines and large mobil racks. The total-locking brake is desireable whenever a swivel caster must be totally immobile.
Features:
Swivel Construction - cold forged top plate and yoke base from 1/4" steel. Swivel has double ball bearing with hardened raceways.
Center Pin - 5/8" diameter, rivet or bolt and nut.
Legs - 1/4" thick.
Axle - 1/2'' diameter hollow bolt with lock nut.
Wheel Bearing - Extra Large Precision Sealed Ball Bearings.
Grease Fitting - for swivel bearing.
Finish - external metal parts are zinc plated
Swivel Lock - Option available on the Swivel Caster without Total Lock.
