A right-angled fixtured automatic screwdriving drive head designed to drive small screws horizontally at up to 15 Nm of torque using a cobot or other fixtured positioning system.
Carlson Engineering automated screw driving machines are designed to work with a screwfeeder or step feeder, and assist in your assembly automation fastening process by advancing the screw or screws to your product, stopping above it, and then advancing the bit driving the screw or screws to torque or depth. Carlson automatic feed screwdriver systems can be fitted with almost any brand of screwdriver on the market today.
As a Type 4, this drive head is a single-stage drive head with only one travel stroke. This means it is excellent for use on multi-positional robots, due to its limited mobility.
Designed with smaller applications in mind, the Right Angle MiniMod Type 4 Drive Head is able to seamlessly integrate into low-payload robotic arm assemblies.
The Right Angle MiniMod Type 4 Drive Head is intended for use with a blow-feed automatic screwfeeder and can also be configured to drive bolts, pins, rivets, set-screws, and more.
