The STICKSCREW¬Æ system from PennEngineering¬Æ provides a fast and efficient method for small screw insertion, utilizing a lightweight driver and sticks of up to 130 serially connected hex head screws. The StickShooter¬Æ driver features interchangeable nose assemblies for quick changeover between different hex sizes. The system eliminates the need for expensive tooling and fixtures, reducing operator fatigue and minimizing training requirements. It ensures torque reliability by incorporating built-in seating torque, which negates the need for torque testing. The design simplifies inventory management by preventing loose or mixed screws, thereby optimizing shelf space. Custom screw designs, finishes, and coatings are available to meet specific application needs. The system operates on 90 P.S.I. using a 1/4,Äù air line and is compatible with various screw sizes and materials, including 400 series stainless steel.

This simple low-cost system combines a lightweight driver and “sticks” of up to 110 serially connected hex head screws. Simply insert the stick in the driver, index the first screw, squeeze the trigger, and place the tip of the protruding screw in the hole and the screw is driven home, twisting off cleanly when precise torque is reached.
