The HSCH-5314 is a beam lead Schottky diode designed for mixer and detector applications up to 16 GHz. It is packaged in a planar, passivated structure with gold leads and a silicon nitride coat, measuring 710 μm by 60 μm. The diode has a maximum noise figure of 7.2 dB at 16 GHz, a reverse breakdown voltage of at least 4 V, a zero-bias capacitance of 0.15 pF, and a maximum forward voltage of 500 mV at 1 mA. It supports a maximum operating temperature of 175°C and a minimum lead pull strength of 4 grams. The device is ESD sensitive and requires careful handling. Thermocompression bonding is recommended for assembly.
