The VRX21 vibrating probe level sensor is a point-level detector for powders and bulk solids with a minimum material density of 1.9 lb./ft³ (30 g/liter). It features a sword-shaped stainless steel blade with a 7.5-inch insertion length and uses damping of resonant vibration to detect material contact. The sensor operates with a 24 VDC or 115/230 VAC power supply and withstands ambient temperatures from -4°F to +140°F (-20°C to +60°C) and process temperatures up to +176°F (+80°C) with a standard probe. It has a die-cast aluminum enclosure with USDA-approved powder coat finish, rated NEMA 4X, and mounts via 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" NPT threads. The relay output is a DPDT contact rated for 5 A at 250 VAC. It holds C/US Class II Div 1 and IECEx-ATEX Zone 20, 21 approvals for hazardous locations.

The sword-shaped vibrating blade has a 7.5” insertion length into the vessel to detect high, mid, or low point-level conditions. It can be mounted at the top, side, or cone of a bin, tank, silo, or vessel with 1 1/4” or 1 1/2” NPT threads.
