Johns Manville MinWool® Safing provides a fire-rated seal when installed between the spandrel panel and floor slab in commercial curtainwall systems.
Available plain or faced with a (FSP) Scrim Reinforced Foil Facing vapor retarder on one face, MinWool Safing insulation provides a fire-rated seal when installed between the spandrel panel and floor slab in commercial curtainwall systems. It also prevents flame and smoke from passing through openings that penetrate fire rated assemblies.
MinWool® Curtainwall insulation provides superior fire resistance in glass, metal, and masonry curtainwall spandrel systems. Using either plain or faced with a (FSP) Scrim Reinforced Foil Facing vapor retarder on one face, Curtainwall can be placed between or over framing members.
