The GUMTF12 is a universal tight buffered distribution cable designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. It features a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) outer jacket, making it suitable for environments where fire safety is a concern. This cable contains 12 single-mode fibers compliant with the G.657.A2 standard, ensuring high performance in various networking applications, including industrial, telecom, and data systems. The cable is rated Euroclass Dca for fire performance and is not suitable for blown installation. It has a maximum attenuation of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at both 1550 nm and 1625 nm, which supports efficient data transmission. The cable's construction includes water-blocking glass yarns, enhancing its durability in outdoor settings. With a minimum bend radius of 152 mm for installation and 76 mm for operation, the cable can withstand a maximum tensile strength of 1500 N during installation and 500 N during operation. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -30 °C to +70 °C.
