This model of optical mounts uses spring-loaded pawls to gently hold, but securely, high precision optics. Wavefront distortion in the optic is minimized because the forces acting on the optic are centrally. For the applications requiring secure mounting, the three pawls can be tightened. Three axes adjustment are provided.
