It features a hermetic metal/ceramic package, common base configuration, and internal impedance matching. The device operates in broadband Class C with 50% collector efficiency and 7.4 dB power gain. It supports a peak collector current of 28 A, collector-emitter voltage of 80 V, and junction temperature up to 200 °C. The thermal resistance is 0.05 °C/W. The transistor is RoHS compliant and has a load mismatch tolerance of up to 10:1 and stability of 1.5:1.
