The MRF171A is an N-channel enhancement mode RF MOSFET designed for wideband large-signal output and driver stages from 30 to 200 MHz. It is packaged in CASE 211-07, STYLE 2 with a gold top metal finish. The device is guaranteed to deliver 45 W output power at 150 MHz and 28 Vdc, with a minimum power gain of 17 dB and minimum efficiency of 60%. It features low gate-drain capacitance of 8 pF at VDS = 28 V and is 100% tested for load mismatch at all phase angles with 30:1 VSWR. The transistor exhibits excellent thermal stability and is suited for Class A operation. It supports manual gain control, ALC, and modulation techniques.
