The Mali-55 GPU is the world’s smallest OpenGL ES 1.1 compliant GPU using the Mali™ tile-based rendering architecture to maximize the efficiency of energy usage in displaying graphical images, and to minimize the bandwidth demands on the system. The Mali-55 is also compliant to the OpenVG 1.0 standard, providing excellent font rendering and vector drawing acceleration.
Class leading Full-Scene Anti-Aliasing (FSAA) ensures that the highest image quality is produced at either zero overhead or low overhead, well suited to a range of embedded, mobile and navigation applications.
The provision of an industry standard, AMBA AHB interface makes integration of the Mali-55 GPU into system-on-chip designs straight-forward.
