Lithographic Sheet Alcoa's lithographic grade sheet is a premium quality product used to make high quality offset printing plates. With its exemplary rolled surface and flatness, excellent electrograining response and economic electrical energy consumption, it has been extensively developed to meet the demanding needs of today's printers for the production of magazines, bank notes, stamps and many other other printed items we see around us. SURFACE QUALITY Rolled surfaces are smooth and clean. Degreased surfaces are chemically free of oil and contamination from the manufacturing process. Surfaces which are to be grained are inspected by an on-line laser ensuring they have a uniform appearance and are free of defects that would adversely affect the final use of the product.
