The FIT Heat Shrink Tubing, part number CAP-23, is constructed from semi-rigid polyolefin material and is designed for heat shrink applications. It has a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.400 inches and a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.180 inches, with a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.060 inches. The tubing is available in black and has a nominal recovered length of 1.200 inches. This product operates effectively within a temperature range of -55¬8C to 135¬8C and features a shrink ratio of approximately 2:1. It exhibits a minimum tensile strength of 2500 psi and a minimum elongation of 300%, as per ASTM D638 standards. The dielectric strength is rated at 700 V/mil, and the volume resistivity is 1x10^16 ohm-cm, ensuring reliable electrical insulation. The tubing is compliant with EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS2) and does not contain any substances of very high concern as per REACH regulations. It is lead-free and has a shelf life of 25 years when stored at temperatures between 18¬8C and 35¬8C. Each package contains 25 pieces.
