Advance Security Products Siamese Coax Power/Video Cable

Description
RG59 18/2 Siamese Cable Siamese Power/Video Cables runs both power and video in the same cable sheath. The video side is RG59 and the power side is 18 gauge 2 wire. The outer sheath is weatherproof and UV resistant. This is a much higher quality cable than normal pre-fabricated Power/Video Cables. Although our Pre-fabs which are advertised on a another page are very high quality and work well for most cameras, they are still only 22 gauge for power and video. The pre-fab cables will work fine on non infrared cameras up to 150 ft., 12 to 24 led cameras up to 50 ft., and some higher end cameras with 48-56 leds up to 50 ft. However, you must use Siamese cable when you are purchasing our Super 48 or 550 line MWC cameras for runs over 50 ft. The cost of our Siamese is comparable to the pre-fabs. We include 2 BNC Twist on video connectors, 4 wire nuts and a quickstart guide with each cut of Siamese cable to allow you to connect your cameras. By not having the connectors already on the cable will allow you to drill smaller holes when you are installing the cable. This is how professional CCTV installers do it. This is what the professionals use when installing cameras. RG59 for video and 18/2 for power. Weatherproof, UV resistant Siamese Coax. Many people purchase the pre-made 25, 50, 75, 100 and 150 ft. cables and connect them together to make longer hard-wired runs and they wonder why they have trouble with no color, a weak picture, and even poor night vision with some infrared LED cameras. This is due to a power and video loss. Now you can hard wire many cameras up 300 ft. or more with this Siamese Coax. If you are going into business or have a lot of cable to run we suggest you purchase our RG59 compression connectors and our compression tool. We also offer direct burial for situations that require burying the cable underground without the need for conduit. Drill Smaller Holes Siamese Coax is a larger gauge power and video than standard pre-made cables. This also provides for a cleaner install because you can drill smaller holes because you attach the connectors after cable is in place. To attach the power side of cable you simply cut the included power supply wire, strip about 3/4" of the end and wirenut to each side of cable. This will give you the correct plug to plug directly into the camera. The power supply is then wire-nutted to the other side of power cable inside you home.
