The UL5-3.5G-650 is a red laser diode module emitting 3.5 mW at 650 nm with continuous wave operation in a single-mode structure. It features an adjustable elliptical spot size, collimated beam option, and operates on 3 to 5 V DC with less than 40 mA current draw. The module has a diameter of 10.5 mm and length of 26 mm, with an integrated auto power control circuit and ESD/reverse polarity protection. Laser class is IIIA/3R, divergence is less than 1 mrad, and wavelength drift is 0.2 nm/°C. It requires a heat sink for extended use and operates between +10°C and +40°C. The case is internally connected to the circuit, and the anodized surface must not be damaged.
