The OZ200SG is a high voltage axial lead rectifier designed for high voltage applications, rated for a working reverse voltage of 20000 V and an average rectified current of 0.20 A. It features a repetitive peak surge current of 25 A, a reverse recovery time of 3000 ns, and a typical junction capacitance of 3.0 pF at 50 VDC. The device operates within a temperature range of -65°C to +175°C and is packaged in an axial lead format with dimensions of 1.025 ± 0.050 in (26.04 ± 1.27 mm) in length and 0.180 in (4.57 mm) in diameter. Thermal resistance is specified as 3 °C/W at 55°C ambient and 6 °C/W at 100°C ambient for a lead length of 0.375 in.
For applications that require more custom mechanical configurations or electrical characteristics, VMI has provided customers with the option of high voltage diodes in a clear epoxy package without the embedded LEDs.
Utilizing the photo-sensitive nature of silicon, VMI has created a line of high voltage optocouplers and opto-diodes. VMI’s optocouplers and opto-diodes are available in 10kV and 15kV versions and can be assembled in series configuration for additional standoff voltage capability.
