VersaLogic Corporation PC/104 Extraction Tool VL-HDW-201

VersaLogic's PC/104 extraction tool speeds development and production of PC/104 systems by greatly simplifying the task of separating PC/104 modules. Up to now, detaching the modules from each other was a difficult and time-consuming chore which often resulted in bent connector pins. Unplugging the newer PC/104-Plus modules was especially difficult, due to the hundreds of interconnected pins on both ends of the module. Now PC/104 users can simply place the extraction tool between the boards, squeeze, and the boards easily detach from the stack. The extraction tool can be used in both development and production environments for separating PC/104 modules from each other, and for separating PC/104 modules from SBC expansion sites. Using the extraction tool is as simple as placing it at the edge of the boards to be separated and squeezing the handle. It features a lifetime warranty and can be safely used with electrostatic sensitive devices. The extractor is a joint offering of two major PC/104 vendors, VersaLogic Corp. and parvus Corp. It is available in single unit quantities, or at no charge with evaluation orders for any of VersaLogic's PC/104-Plus compatible products.
