The 12 Series consists of hazardous location pressure, differential pressure, and temperature switches with a 316 stainless steel enclosure and hermetically sealed microswitch, designed for compact installations in demanding environments. It is certified for use in Div. 1 and Zone 1 hazardous locations with UL, cUL, ATEX, and IECEx approvals, and complies with ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 and NEC 501.17. Switches feature a snap-action Belleville spring for vibration resistance and long life, with adjustable ranges from 30" Hg vacuum to 12,500 psi for pressure, and -130°F to 650°F for temperature. Wetted parts are NACE MR-0175 compliant, and optional materials include Hastelloy® and Monel®. A 72" leadwire and optional mounting brackets are available. The series carries a 3-year warranty.
The 12 Series offers process end-users and OEMs, safety and control reliability in a rugged, compact design for alarm and emergency shutdown applications. It is certified to the requirements of ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 and NFPA 70 that stress the importance of properly sealing electrical equipment to prevent process media from entering the electrical conduit system - no additional components or labor required. SIL 2 certification simplifies use in safety instrumented systems (SIS).Typical applications that utilize the 12 Series include offshore production safety panels, rotating equipment, fire suppression systems, BOP accumulator systems, and CO2 injection skids.
