RKX is primarily used for machine sanding. It has a heavy cloth back and a resin over resin binder which allows for excellent adhesion of the sanding grains to the backing, thus resulting in a stable product for demanding edge and wide belt sanding.
When using abrasives with a cloth backing, using the stiffest backing your work piece will allow, will result in an increased abrasive life.
