Toray is active in the production of molding components using TORAYCA® and other state-of-the-art materials. In addition to the manufacture of plates, cassettes and other medical equipment, the Rolls Doctor Blade industrial machine and other products, the Company is also taking advantage of the move to higher hardness and lower weight to expand this arm of its business into personal computer housings, fuel cell electrode basic materials and other new applications. Moreover, Toray is expanding the composite business, in large structural products for general industrial applications such as building and infrastructure composites and composites for automotive components (propeller shafts and exterior panels).
