The Therm-O-Mix® Station/WWM is a self-operating, electrically independent tepid water supply for safety shower and eyewash stations, blending existing hot and cold water to maintain a constant 85°F (29°C) output. It features a bronze-cast WM-1 mixing valve, a bronze-cast PWM-1 pressure sensing controller, and a brass V-4 final safety control that shuts off hot water if temperature exceeds 90°F (32°C). The unit has 1" NPT hot and cold inlets and a 1 1/4" NPT outlet, measures 18.0 inches nominally in length, and weighs under 15 lbs (6 kg). It delivers 3 to 25 GPM (11.4 to 113.7 L/min) with minimum 40 PSIG inlet pressure, has a Cv of 10.0, and conforms to OSHA and ANSI recommendations. All components are in-line serviceable and designed for retrofit installation.

Operation
After water flow is activated at the shower or eyewash, the outlet water temperature will reach 85°F(29°C) when hot water arrives at the mixing valve. The mixing valve then blends the hot and cold water to produce an output of 85°F(29°C) water.
