The LM5051MAE/NOPB is a low-side OR-ing FET controller in an 8-lead SOIC package designed to drive an external N-channel MOSFET as an ideal diode rectifier in power distribution networks, reducing power loss and voltage drop. It operates with input voltages from -6 V to -100 V and withstands transient voltages up to -100 V. The device provides a 2 A peak gate turn-off current and responds to reverse current in 50 ns. It features a FET diagnostic test mode and includes an open-drain nFGD output for status indication. The device meets RoHS standards and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
